12 - Defect Engineering for Energy Storage and Conversion

Organizers:

Jinghuang Lin (jinghuanglin@um.edu.mo), University of Macau

Scope and topics:

The Defect Engineering for Energy Storage and Conversion symposium welcomes researchers, scientists and industry professors to this open forum advancing in the field of defect engineering. We think that our symposium will serve as a useful forum for scholars to keep up with the most recent developments and changes and to share thoughts and knowledge in these fields. Currently, the introduction of defect has become a key research topic, which can effectively modulate the intrinsic activities in the fields of energy storage and conversion. For example, the speakers will talk about their theoretical and experimental achievements on newly emerged defect engineering, which applies in various technological applications, such as electrocatalysts, photocatalysts, batteries, supercapacitors, etc. Further, the underlying mechanisms of defect engineering will be also be considered. The presentations at this mini-symposium motivate individuals who are ready to go on a major journey in this little topic of defect engineering and help to stimulate the study of others working on various topics.
